The baby wetsuit is made from Neoprene, which is the same kind of material that adult surf wetsuits are made from. It has Velcro fastening at the front and on the shoulders, you can undo the whole of the baby wetsuit so it lays out flat, simply lay your baby on and wrap it around them and stick the Velcro together. The suit then fits them snugly but it only covers their torso, so that their legs and feet are free to move around. As the straps are fastened by Velcro, they are adjustable, therefore you can loosen the straps as your child gets bigger. A good thing about the baby wetsuit is that it protects against UV so that when you're on holiday it protects them from the suns rays, of course you still need to put suntan lotion on anywhere that is exposed to the sun.

This was great for our trips to Mexico because they keep the pool temps very cold. Other kids' lips were blue but since we had our 7 month old in this wet suit, he stayed warm & had no complaints or signs of being too cold. Our 7 month old who is long for his size fit in the 0-6 month size just fine. We already bought the 6-12 month size for when he gets too long. The Velcro closures are a genius design. Its very easy to get on and off (even a squirming baby) & it still fits as baby grows.
My only complaint is that the yellow color bleeds when wet, even after I've used & washed it several times. So have a plastic bag to keep it in when its wet. It ruins towels or your dry clothing.

We ordered the black and yellow little wetsuit size 0-6 months. I was kind of worried because I ordered it when my daughter was already 3.5 months old and I didn't realize until after I ordered it that shipping was supposed to take 6 weeks! So I wasn't sure whether that was a mistake to order the small size.
Actually, the wetsuit arrived much quicker than stated--it shipped from the UK, but it still only took a couple weeks for delivery. I never comment on shipping in these reviews, but in this case it seems really relevant since it comes from the company that makes them, and there is only one supplier/shipper. So, if you're worried about that, don't worry.
As it turns out, the size is a little big. So, even though this was one of the smallest wetsuits I found to choose from, it's still a little big for my daughter. However, my daughter is long and skinny, so if you're trying to fit a chubby baby, this will probably fit perfectly.
The wetsuit seems to be very well made. The material is thick. The seams look very nice. It doesn't seem like it will fall apart anytime soon. I had ordered yellow so that if we ever have kids again we won't be putting a little boy in a hot pink wetsuit, or we could resell it to someone else once we're done with it, and I was glad I chose that, because this wetsuit is MUCH more durable than it would need to be, even for 6 months of frequent use.
The velcro makes it easy to put the baby in the wetsuit. We finally actually used this for a swim class today, and it was easy to put it on her (and take it off of her). BUT, the pieces of velcro are very large and thick, so it makes a lot of noise. That scared my daughter and set her off crying both when we put the suit on and took it off. I suspect she will get used to that--she got used to Daddy's very loud sneezes, so this should be okay.
I think the company that makes these changed names. Nothing on this wetsuit says Soles Up Front--now it is The Wetsuit Factory. The front of the wetsuit has a "TWF" logo that is about an inch tall and four inches wide across the chest. Then there are three little tags on the back neck: a small size tag that says 0-6, a made in china tag, and a The Wetsuit Factory tag with a UK city and care instructions.
Other than that it seems like the one pictured.
Overall we like this. It seems a little too big for my daughter (a little tall and a little wide), but I knew she was skinny, so it just means it will fit her longer.
Highly recommended for any swimming babies.
